The Pastry Depot's COVID-19 Update


In an effort to move toward a more normal schedule and better serve our customers, beginning Tuesday, September 8 we will be extending our curbside pickup hours to 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Curbside pickup orders can be placed through our website by selecting "Curbside Pick-up" as the shipping method at checkout. Customers who would like to order items noted as "In-Store Only" can email [email protected] to get these items added to their cart. Customers will be notified by email when their order is ready for pickup.

We hope to be able to safely reopen our retail store to the public in the near future, however, for now it will remain closed to the public unless there is prior authorization from leadership. We will continue to offer our HOME30 discount offer to assist you with your own operating costs during this challenging time.

UPDATE: APRIL 23, 2020

As many of our Pastry Depot customers & friends know, Governor Kemp recently initiated steps to begin reopening businesses in Georgia within the coming days. Though we are also eager to resume normal business operations and open our doors to our incredible customers, and support you as you do the same, we do not feel we are ready to do that just yet.

The last several weeks have been trying for so many and this decision is not easy, but we believe it is the right one. The safety of our Pastry Depot family - team members and customers - will always be the highest priority and drive decisions on how we operate our business.

Although we are not sure when we will be ready to resume normal hours and reopen our retail store to the public, we will continue to be available to support your needs through online ordering and pick-up service. Our TOGETHER20 and HOME30 discount offers will remain to assist you during this time as well.

To our valued Pastry Depot customers,

At The Pastry Depot, the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and their families are always of highest priority for us. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak and plan to follow the guidance of the CDC, as well as our state and federal health agencies, to best protect our employees and our customers. Though our hope is that our business and service to you will be as uninterrupted as possible, we understand this is a fluid situation and are prepared to be as flexible as necessary to do what is best for our communities and neighbors.

In this critical time, we have taken additional steps to go beyond our typical protocols and provide additional protection, including reducing extraneous travel and limiting visitors within The Pastry Depot’s retail store and warehouse. In addition, we have intensified sanitation measures for high-touch areas and implemented enhanced safety and cleanliness guidelines for our employees to protect themselves from illness.

As such, In an effort to help our team members and customers stay safe, until further notice we are modifying our retail hours & policies.

Guest & customer access to our retail store and warehouse will be restricted, unless there is prior authorization from leadership. However, our plan is to stay open for business as long as possible through the measures below:

Local customers: All retail orders must be placed online or over the phone prior to arriving. You may select “Pick-up In-Store” as your shipping option when ordering online. Call 404-458-3194 when you arrive and we will bring your order out to your car. You also have the option to order online and have your order shipped to you. Note: “in-store only” items such as frozen purees and cake drums must be ordered over the phone and cannot be shipped.

Online customers: Ordering & shipping through our online store will be business as usual for as long as we are permitted to do so. There is currently no disruption to our online order placement, fulfillment, or shipping procedures.

Wholesale customers: Outside of limited availability on some products, we do not expect any disturbance to wholesale ordering at this time. Our goal is to do our part to limit any impacts to your business. You may still place wholesale orders for delivery via courier by calling 404-458-3194 or contacting [email protected] If you prefer to pick-up your order, please call when you arrive and we will bring your items out to your car. If you are not able to order ahead of arriving at our retail store, please call when you arrive and one of our associates will assist you outside and gather your item(s) for you.
