Ingredients: Modified food starch, egg whites, sugar, gum arabic, sodium aluminum sulfate, citric acid, cream of tartar, vanillin.

Directions:
Meringue
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup meringue powder
Dissolve granulated sugar in boiling water. Let cool to room temperature. Add meringue powder and beat to high peaks. Bake and use according to your recipe. Covers one 9-inch pie.
Royal Icing
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 cup meringue powder
4 cups confectioner's sugar
Beat meringue powder into cold water until peaks form. Then, beat in sifted confectioner's sugar until desired consistency. Add more sugar for a stiffer icing. To keep icing soft, add 3 drops of glycerine.
