The Gahara vanilla bean is from Batabulan, a small province on the island of Bali, Indonesia. In their unique curing process, this community takes the vanilla bean to higher standards. Their high natural vanilla content creates an astonishingly sweet and well-rounded flavor.

Applications: As a flavoring in countless recipes.
Directions: To infuse properly, split the beans and scrape the pod halves with a knife to extract the seeds. Use both the seeds and the pods for infusions, straining the mass to remove the pods before creating the finished product. Pods may be washed and dried and used as a garnish or to create vanilla sugar.
